- Description
- Innovation champions are suggested to be key individuals for promoting and overcoming organisational barriers to innovation. There is a need for further empirical investigation to substantiate key claims around champion impact on organisations and to further explore innovation champion behaviour, particularly with reference to organisational context. Additionally, the motivation behind innovation champion behaviour requires further exploration. This paper presents an overview of proposed research focused on exploring innovation champion behaviours, impact and motivation in both profit organisations and social enterprise.
